This unique campground was built in 1963 by Southern California Edison in a pine forest on the western shores of Shaver Lake, California. We have 252 campsites complete with electricity, free cable television and limited high-speed WI-FI Internet access. You'll find conveniences like picnic facilities, modern restrooms with heated showers, laundromats, marina, and a general store. A number of visitors opt to enjoy Camp Edison during the Spring and Fall off-season for activities such as hiking and picture taking. Not only is there typically a greater variety of available camp sites to select from but fewer people means greater tranquility.
